Could not access Enterprise Global

I have installed Microsoft Project 2007 on several machines most of them work
just fine. I have 2 that when you try and open Microsoft Project 2007 it
gives the an error message "Could not access Enterprise Global" possible
reasons: You do not have sufficent permissions to access the Enterprise
Global. There is a problem with the Enterprise Global in the database. If
the problme persists, contact your administrator. I have checked the users
permission and they are administrators of the computer, so I would think that
they have plenty of permission.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

This forum is for developer questions. In the future, post questions like
this to Microsoft.public.project for Project client questions, and to
microsoft.public.project.server for Project Server related questions. It
sounds as though these machines are trying to access the Project Server
database. Is it your intention to be installing for stand-alone use or use
with Project Server? If you are installing to machines that have already
been connected to Project Server, then there may be left-over settings on
the workstation that are causing this. On the problem machines, go to All
Programs > Microsoft Office > Microsoft Office Tools > Microsoft Office
Project Server 200X and in the Project Server Accounts dialog, select the
option to manually control the connection state which will allow you to
choose whether to connect to Project Server or not when you start the
Project client. From there, you'll need to remove the accounts if you want
to run stand-alone, or provide the correct accounts for your Project Server
scenario.
