Could not delete from specified tables

Hi,
I have a database user (in MS Access Runtime 2000) that
gets a message "MS Access Error: Could not delete from
specified tables" when opening a form that triggers just
one delete query. The delete query only deletes records
from one table, which is not even related to other tables
in the database. I saw the knowledge base article
240098, but this didn't seem to apply to single-table
delete queries. Any ideas?
