I am running Windows XP Professional and am using the Professional Plus
version of Microsoft Office 2007. It has been 3 random occasions and two
different pcs--only on my profile, that I receive the following error while
creating/replying to a email:
"Could not install the custom actions. The object could not be found"
The first time this happened I took it as maybe a installation problem and I
was restaging another pc for me anyway so I over looked it. Now with this new
pc it happened 3 weeks later into the installation. I went through knowledge
bases and found no clue other than to delete my profile. I only deleted it
after seeing that after removing my few custom actions--Rules and Alerts for
email delivery did not work. Now almost a month later this is starting up
again. What could be causing this and how can I fix it? I am able to continue
my work after clicking ok but it is annoying. I cant seem to find what is
triggering this error after it works fine all that time. I am testing this
out for our entire organization and I have to be able to resolve this before
I roll it out to the rest of our users.
