Okay folks here is what I hope to be a simple question.
When sharing a DB on a LAN should multiple users be able
to connect to a protected DB and then all access records
from the same table??
I know security permissions are not a problem, at least
with the shared folder. I used the build in security
wizard to establish my users. Currently I can get
multiple users to connect to the db, but when they all go
to open the form they recive this error "could not lock
table, currently in use". I have also set the advace tab
to shared, and have tried both "no locks" and "edited
record"
What I am trying to accomplish is setting up a form
mutiple users can access to pull records from a table.
This is currently a simple database and only contains one
table with no relationships.
Thanks
