Could not open a Project in Project Pro 2003 after applyingSP1 on

Hi,

I could not open a project in ProjectPro 2003 after applying a SP1. All
other projects are fine except one project. This is an Overhead Admin project.

while opening this project the Project Pro crashes with event log

"Faulting application winproj.exe, version 11.1.2004.1707, stamp 40ebc70a,
faulting module winproj.exe, version 11.1.2004.1707, stamp 40ebc70a, debug?
0, fault address 0x00338325."

I tryied from another machine and also as another user. In all these cases,
it ProjectPro crashes while opening. But I can view this Project using Web
Access.

Have anyone come across this problem. Is there any other way to successfully
open it and save.?

Did you apply SP1 to all Project Pro installations and the Server? If one
is patched and the other isn't and a project is saved, it can cause
corruption. Are you running MDAC 2.8? Although Microsoft says Project
works with 2.7, I have seen problems. Did you look at some of the records
in the database for this project? Do they look OK? And of course - do you
have a good backup?

Thanks for your reply.
Yes. I applied the SP1. I also checked the version on MDAC and it is the
latest 2.8.
Dont know where to look at for the records. But I could browse the project
using Web Access.
I have backup of the database though it is a month old.

Is there a way to take a copy from the sql database and store it offline and
then load it online?
