Just installed Outlook 2007.
I modified my Inbox view so that the column "Categories" is on the far
right of my inbox view.
Whenever I select the categories button to change the color a dialog
box pops up and says, "Could not open the item. Try again."
I've tried the following steps but unfortunately it does not resolve
the problem.
1) Tools, Options, Other, Advanced Options, Custom Forms, Manage Forms,
Clear Cache.
2) Deleted ..\<profile>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\FORMS\FRMCACHE.DAT.
3) Renamed ..\<profile>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.ost to outlook.ost.old.
4) Restarted Outlook.
Deleting the FRMCACHE.DAT file will work for a short while but then the
problem re-appears. This feels like a definite bug in the program.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this? Thanks.
