Could not use'Admin': file already in use.

Hello - Thanks in advance for your help!
I get the error message worded exactly like the subject of
this post. It's for an employee in the User group of my
split database. I get the same error if a put the same
employee in the Full Data Users group(me testing the
error).
What's weird: I can use this same employees user name and
password to successfully logon to the database on my pc.
I figure there is a setting somewhere other than through
the security options within access - thanks again!

Check to make sure the user in question has Full Permissions (Read, Write,
Delete) to the FOLDER where the database is stored.

Lynn - absolutely correct; thank you! This user and the
others like her, I found out, are using a Novell server
and do not have full access to the folder - thanks for
your valuable time!
