could nt find web server

I use Firefox and have a home LAN. Just bought FP2003 and cannot open a web
site because I get error message saying "could not find Web server at 'Bruce'
on port 80. " It then goes on to say make sure port settings and proxy are
corect.

Any help?

Where is the web server and are you trying to accessing it via http?

Sorry to be so dumb, but I I have no idea. All I was trying to do was open
a new web site so that I could start building my own and it gave me this
message.

Just create a folder under C:\, then open the folder via FP's File Menu | Open Site dialog, and let
FP make it a web / site.
