Could Windows be like this :

I don't know if Windows 7 is selling, so far, noone around me has
purchased it. I hope Microsoft will not only be xbox 360 grocery
stores!

To my eyes (i see myself as a IT geek), the next ms os i would spend
money on should have these features:

1st- all xp features and layout (on vista and the new stuff, it takes
quite some time to figure out how to turn on/off the camera! So it
would take several weeks to "re"learn everythings -linux wins here).
Xp was good, any reasons to change ? however graphic shapes can be a
little renew with an uptodate framework ...

2nd-a multiple dimension desktop with a fully proprietary dimension
desktop where i don't need a 24/24 internet connection and other
dimensions about desktops office, communication i can access from
anywhere (from a usb key or online) and that would integrate with the
proprietary desktop (a little like the so difficult to use xp
briefcase) so at any time i can decide files i want local and files i
want to access from anywhere ...

Is it the right place to post this?

Hi ,

This newsgroup is specifically for matters dealing with Microsoft Project. I suggest you try to find a more appropriate newsgroup that deals with Windows problems.
