Count Function

Hi, I have a workbook with 2 sheets. on Sheet1 in Column E i want to
count how many cells are filled with data. On Sheet2, column A, i have
the number of data that correspond to other data. What i want to do it
to count the number of values i have in Sheet1 column E, and then if
there is a match in Sheet2 Column A, i want it to perform some
calculations using the data in Sheet2. How can i do that in Excel VBA ?
Any help is appreciated.
