Count number of groups

I have a report from a query that is grouped on one of the fields. I
would like to count the number of groups in the report. I've put a
text box in the group's footer with a control souce of =1 and set the
running sum property to Over Group. All is fine in that it gives me a
total of the groups when I read the last group in the report. Can I
get that info from the last group into a report header or footer
somewhere?

Assuming the name of the control with the running sum is txtRunSum, add a
text box in the report footer with a control source of:
=txtRunSum
