Count rows with 2 criteria

Hi,
I am trying to count the number of rows that satisfy 2
criteia, eg A="Q" and B="1" (where Col B is a text field
and not a number), in this case the answer would be 2

A B
Q 1
Q 1
R 3
S 2
S 1
R 2

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
