COUNT.........

Hi!
any one help me.

I am having two tables [applicant] and [Instt] to store
applicant details in [applicant] and institute details in
[instt].

Now I want to count Males and females applied Instt wise.
Problem is an applicant can apply more than one Instt. and
more than one department under the same Instt. Hence my
counting value is duplicating. Help how to get it solved.

Hi Krish,

Try creating a query to group by whatever fields uniquely
identify the people first (make sure to include the
Male/Female field as well). Then, run a query based on
the summary query to group by the Male/Female field and
count the names.
