I put a counter on my page, but when i published i didn't see any
picture. I was like if put a picture on my page but not uploading it
to the server. I used FRONT PAGE XP. Please help me.

You didn't get it installed properly because it's looking for it on your C
drive.
You can see this by right clicking on the page and then click "View Source
Code" and then scrolling almost to the bottom.

BTW, 99% of sites don't have hit counters because they serve no purpose. You
web space provider will give you that information with a few clicks, that is
detailed.
