counting non-unique numbers

example: Column A contains the follong values
(21,21,22,23,23,24,25) I want to count only the unique
numbers so.. instead of =count(A:A) equals 7 I want to
know how many unique records there are ie. the answer
should equal 5. I know I can paste these over to a new
worksheet and then filter with advanced filter unique
records only and then copunt, but was hoping to count them
in their origianl column? Any Ideas??
