Counting Records!

Hi all

This has to be one of the most basic questions on here
but I can't work it out!

All i need is a simple way of counting the total number
of records in a table and display them on a form!?!!

In a textbox simply put the following:
=Count(*)

Hi Maurice - sorry I wasn't clear:
The form I am using uses a query so using "count(*)"
counts the number of records in that query. I need to
count the total records in the table the query is based
on.
