Counting tasks in a view

Hello All,

Does anyone know if there is a way that when setting a particular view
of tasks using a filter, whether or not there is a straightforward way
of counting those tasks in the view? Or do I need to just cycle
through the entire project and manually count tasks meeting the filter
criteria?
