Country Code (+1) in contact numbers

This may seem petty, but it drives me crazy. Is there a way in Outlook 2007
to remove the country code (+1) in all of my contact numbers? I would like
all of the phone numbers to be displayed in the following format if possible.
(920) 123-4567 Can that be done and if so, how? Thanks for all of your help!
