Courtesy title in Address block

The courtesy title appears in the Greeting line, but I want it to appear in the Address block as well. I am merging an Excel spreadsheet that houses my address database ( I have matched fields, etc. but to no avail). The annoying thing is that it will display the title in the Greeting line when I use the insert additional fields option, but will not print it, or display it when I "edit" any of the individual merged letters afterwards.

actual question or problem is. Or if there are two or three, in there. Which
version of Word are we discussing?

FWIW, I get the Courtesy Title in both blocks... What options do you have
activated in the Address Block dialog box? And
