I am at a wifi cafe who has covad as their provider. Covad seems to
be the only smtp server I have not been able to send pop3 mail from.
I have been able to change the outgoing mail (smtp) to whatever IP I
happen to be using.
Can surf, and receive mail fine. Just can't send mail unless I use
webmail, which is a hassle.
I have tried to telnet ports 25, 465, and 587 to no avail. Blocked at
every instance.
Also have changed the smtp server to smtp.covad.net &
smtp.covadmail.net
Any others? Any other ports? Any other ways to send mail without
having to use webmail?
