cover page in a report

i would like to make a cover page for a report and use it as a default
front page , does anybody knows if its possible something like that?

can one make a giant report header that consumes the entire first page?

If I understand what you want, just put the first page stuff
in the Report Header section. You wiil probably want to set
the section's ForceNewPage property to After Section.
