Not sure if this is the correct forum for my issue but thought I'd
give it a shot. I purchased a new, unregistered copy of Office X from
a seller on eBay and received it via USPS priority mail on 12/3. When
I opened the "flat rate envelope" I found the disc was cracked and of
course my Mac doesn't read it. I immediately sent an email, with 2
jpgs showing the cracked disc, to the seller asking what my options
were. The seller indicated I could contact Microsoft and get a
replacement disc after submitting the appropriate software
registration numbers. Is this accurate? If so, can anyone point me in
the right direction in terms of a MS contact...email address, phone
number, web page etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks -
