I am a student and I am doing an assignment one of the
assignment questions says; show how you would crash the
project in order to achieve a delivery date 10% before the
calculated date. Can any body help me, I appreciate any

I don't think that "crash" is a technical project management term
defined in PMBok (or maybe it is and I can't find it). I also don't
think "calculated date" has any specific technical meaning in Project
Management.

Consult with your instructor on what he/she means ... although the clue
is the second part of the question which infers they are looking for
ideas about to get a 10% savings on the currently scheduled/planned
completion date.

so, without doing your homework assignment, considering the "project
triangle" (look in Microsoft Project's Help file for this), what sort of
things needs to happen to get schedule improvement?

"Crashing the schedule" generally refers to looking for various methods such
as revising one's resource assignments, changing links, etc, to shorten the
schedule so as to bring the finish date forward. So your scenario means to
find a ways of reducing the schedule duration for the project as a whole by
10%.
