Hi George:

Do you have the Junk Mail Filter (JMF) turned on? If so, a malformed
message can cause the JMF to fail and crash Entourage. Try turning off
the JMF, redownload the mail, delete the bad message, then re-enable
the JMF. Not sure when a true fix will be available.

Will,

Thanks. I don't know if this solution worked for George, but I had a few
problems with malformed email headers crash Entourage as well. Turning off
the Junk Mail Filter and doing a POP connection got the corrupt message
without crashing Entourage.

Any idea on if Microsoft has fixed this problem in the upcoming release of
Mac Office 2004? Obviously I don't want to continue running Entourage on a
daily basis with the Junk Mail Filter off.

I'm certain the bug will be fixed in Office 2004.
