crash on startup

I have Excel v11.1.1 as part of Office 2004. Today whenever I try to
launch it directly, it will open to Project Gallery. If I click
anything, it crashes and asks if I want to send a report to MS. If I
open an existing Excel doc, it *will* open in Excel, it seems

When I try to open Word, it will open without Project Gallery, open a
new doc and in a second or two, have the doc disappear and crash. The
same will happen with opening an existing document.

I've run Disk First Aid, DiskWarrior, Tech Tool Pro (all latest
versions), but since they didn't fix the problem, I guess some file
within Office 2004 is corrupted.

I'm running OS 10.3.9 on a G5.

Any idea of the fix for this?
