Crash with "pure virtual function call"

I got an email that, whenever I view it even with the preview pane, causes
Outlook to immediately crash, giving the message "pure virtual function
call"

Unfortunately, my inbox is sorted so that that message is at the top of the
list, so that Outlook always crashes immediately upon starting up.

Any help?
