Crash with SUM('Q2 RESULTS'!Cell1:Cell4)

I usually turn off the "edit in cell" option so that
whenever I click a cell, it will automatically jump to
referenced cell. However, when I have a formula similar
to the captioned one, Excel crashes everytime when I try
to double-click so that it will take me to the referenced
worksheet and cells. This did not happen when I used
Excel 2000.

Any help will be much appreciated.
