Crash

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

I have read other threads and do not see any suggested solutions.

I have two windows of a file open.
I change an ID number, and print the updated worksheet page to PDF.

After printing a couple of pages, the system hangs and freezes.

This is happening repeatedly.
I do this same type of procedure in many of my workbooks, so I really need to know how to get this to work.

I got thru a bunch of pages successfully. Then I tried to do a simple copy and paste - once cell to another. And got the spinning beachball and crashed.

What can I tell you to help you isolate this problem?

Do I need to rebuild all my spreadsheets?

thank you -
Marion

FYI -
I was able to recreate my crash repeatedly and isolated it - I crashed for any new or previously existing spreadsheet, after visiting File->Print->Preview.

Someone from Microsoft on this board was VERY HELPFUL, but I felt it was a Mac problem and persisted calling Applecare until reaching someone who agreed with me.

We ran some Disk Utilities, re-booted, and I've been working for several hours without crashing (as opposed to crashing continually!)

I may have future problems, but I hope I will be able to isolate and solve them as well.

Thanks -
Marion
