Crashed puter, change of email, re-activate

New puter w/new email account forces me to download Groove again and lose my
old account. How do I re-activate groove to my new email account on this new
computer? I no longer have access to my activation number as it went w/the
older, crashed puter.
I read on a previous question that groove is linked to the original email
account but is there a way to use the same or another activation number to
make the new groove program work? I can get the workspaces back from other
members, so my concern is actually activating the account w/my new email
address.

Hi Rita,

If your account is not managed by your company's EMS and you created an
account on Groove.net with an e-mail address that is no longer valid, just
log into your account on Groove.net using the old e-mail address and
passphrase. As soon as you are logged in, you can change your account
information. You need not to revoke the account.

If your Account is managed by your EMS, please contact your Admin of Groove
to help you download your old account to you so that you can restore it and
help you change the email address from the EMS.

Hey Sara,

Thanks so much for writing back! I have made a real mess of this whole
thing. I tried to log in w/my new email address (before I found this forum)
and of course, could not log on (I forgot that I hadn't changed my email
account name w/groove before my puter crashed). So, I tried the old account
name but couldn't remember the password and asked for it to send me a new
one. Well, groove sent me a new password to the old email account (now
defunct) and now I am really in over my head.

Pls, pls tell me there is a way to recitfy this!! I do not have an
administrator, just using this for my home business.

I'm afraid that I'm confused by your description.

Before we go any further, I have some questions need to clarify with you:

1. According to your description, you said that you have forgotten your
password. Is the password for your Groove Account, or the Passphrase for your
web account on www.groove.net?

If it is the Passphrase for your web account, i'm afraid we cannot change
it. Please go to the following web site to reset it:

after that, you can log on the web account to mamage your Groove Account.

2. Do you have the web account on www.groove.net? If so, please go to the
following web site to log on the web account:

https://secure.groove.net/index.asp?script_name=/grooveservices/index.asp&logout=true

Input your email address and password for it. After you log on, then click
my software, you can manage your Groove Account and License there. Can you
log on it?

3. You want to change the email address for your Groove Account or the web
account?

Refer to my questions and perform the steps. Let me know the information I
need.
