Crashes after typing in a few sentences

Since installing Office 2003 for Students/Teachers, Word crashes after I've
typed in only a few sentences. This occurs whether or not I'm using the
language bar (SP/EN). I've read the other "crashes" notes but have seen no
reference like mine (crashes after typing). I still have Word 2000 on my
machine and it does the same thing.
