Crashes on Printing

P

Phil Grimpo

Running Office XP on Windows XP and every other app prints fine, except
Word. When I go to print, I get a "Instruction at xxx referenced memory at
yyy. The memory could not be written" or something like that.

Any ideas? I have uninstalled / reinstalled but that didn't do it. Just
doesn't make sense that it only crashes in Word and no other apps, including
Office apps.

Any ideas?

Hi Phil,

What type of printer are you printing too? Word is very particular about the printer driver and I have seen crashes in Word
stemming from the printer driver even if does not affect any of the other applications. I would try uninstalling and reinstalling
the printer driver or downloading the lasted updated printer driver from the printer vendors website. Hope this helps!
