Crawl Scope error - Post Windows Desktop Search Installation

To whom it may concern,
A client that I am currently assisting is having an annoying problem with
Outlook 2007 in the area of her Calendar erroring out with problems related
to "Crawl Scope error". There have been numerous reports sent to MS each
time the error has come up from my client in regard to this (her clicking on
send error report link). I have tried the fix regarding the resetting of the
WDS Index via the registry keys. This did not work. To ensure/troubleshoot
it down to a WDS issue, I uninstalled the WDS client from her system (by the
way, she uses WDS quite a lot) and then had her try working with her calendar
for a day. The problem did not re-surface during this time. I then
re-installed the latest version of the client back onto her system (I made
sure to have her allow the Indexing to complete prior to using the WDS
feature or working with her calendar) and after about a day of no troubles,
the problem resurfaced again. This issue has been on-going for quite some
time now and it has yet to be resolved in an equitable fashion. What I would
like to know, has there been any progress with this issue as it is becoming
very frustrating for her to have her Outlook client crash like this when she
is trying to run a business.

Thank you,
