Create a border to be invisible when printing

How do I create a box border in a Word document to show up in the working
document, but not print out or show when looking at the print preview?

Create the box by using a 1-cell table. Then select "No Borders" from the
Borders and Shading options. That gives you a light grey line in the preview
mode, but does not print the border.
