Create a content type based on Project Workspace Document

Does anyone know of a way to create a site content type based upon the
Project Workspace Document content type on the Project Web Access (PWA)
server? This type exists for provisioned project workspaces, but is not
visible from the list of site content types. I am trying to implement various
content types on my PWA server, but I want to base them on the Project
Workspace Document type to inherit its functionality such as the ability to
link to issues, risks, tasks and other documents. Is this even possible?

Are you trying to take columns from the Issues, Risks, Tasks... lists and use
them on any List that you create within PWA? Do you have MOSS on the farm
that PWA is located on?

My primary objective focuses upon implementing multiple site content types,
based upon the Project Workspace Document content type, for Project Document
Libraries. Like other SharePoint document libraries, Project Document
Libraries can be configured to allow for the use of content types beyond the
default. However, I haven’t found a way to add the Links column to content
types I create at the site level. The Links column appears in the column
list for standard Project Document Libraries as a Project Link type column
associated with the Project Workspace Document content type. This column
type is also present in the Issues and Risks lists as well. Since I cannot
select the Links column from the site columns list, I had hoped to set the
parent content type for my new content types to the existing Project
Workspace Document. However, this content type is also not available to
select from. If I cannot include the Links column in my new content types or
base them on the Project Workspace Document type, I will be unable to
establish links to Issues, Risks, Other Documents or Tasks from within the
project on the server.

As for the question regarding MOSS, MOSS resides on the same farm as my PWA
site.

I hope this clarifies what I am trying to accomplish.
