Create a copy of a personal folder

Hi

Please can anyone advise whether it is possible to copy a folder from
Outlook PST personal folders into a server folder? I have clicked and dragged
it from one to the other but it creates a shortcut.

By creating a shortcut does that mean that if I delete the folder in Outlook
that the copied folder in the server folder won't work?

You mean as in saving the messages as separate files in a folder?
Create a folder on the server and then drag and drop all the messages from
Outlook into that folder. The messages will be saved as msg-files then and
also still be kept in Outlook.

A shortcut doesn't hold any contents.
