Right now its printed on every page wastes INK
sometimes 18 pages long

Hi John,

You could try File, Page Setup, Layout and click in the box under
Headers/Footers that says "different first page".

If you're working with a document template that's already been set up,
after you've changed the setting to "different first page", if you go
to View, Headers and Footers, and delete or change the contents in them
on page 2, it should carry over to all your subsequent pages, while
leaving the first page "as is".
