Create a Parameter Q, getting Crit from a custom Dial Bx

Open your form in design mode and minimize it.

Open your query, drop one line under the criteria you have
already coded and choose the build elipsis. Point to your
form and the criteria text box in question and paste it.
Return to the query.

This will let you check the Access code against your own,
which I suspect is missing something. Delete your code
line and use the Access built code line and your problem
should be behind you.
