Create a Print Macro for Letterhead

M

Mike

I would like to create a Macro in Word 2000 that will print to a
specific tray from the printer for letterhead. Once it has printed I
would like the printer to go back to the default setting of "Auto
select" for the tray. It seems that once I get it to print to the
correct tray, it remembers that setting until I physically reset it or
I close Word and reopen it.

I am using Word 2000 Sp-3 and an HP LaserJet 5si/mx. Any help would
be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mike,

See the article "How to set the paper tray to be used when printing" at:

and "Changing the selected (current) printer in Word without changing the
system default printer" at:

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested. Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps
