Create a process-diagram from an Excel Sheet.

I have a matrix data designed in Excel like this:
Process1 Process2 Process3
doc1 i o
doc2 o i
doc3 i o o

where 'i' represents input document to Process and 'o' represents output
document from Process.

My question is: Can I create a process-diagram in Visio form an imported
Excel sheet with that design and data?

Hi Gaspar,

follow instructions on http://support.microsoft.com/kb/254591/en-us
this will enable you to populate data from excel into your shape(s)
once you have the data you can't get the data to be refreshed with a
rightmouse click action
or automatically when document is opened

so you have three shapes Process1,Process2 and Process3
and they each contain the custom property doc1,doc2 and doc3
you can then refer to the value in these cells to do all kind of things
