Create a report from more than one project

I need to create a report that lists resources in the group "Subcontractor"
from a resource pool and list the project name, task name and date for each
item under each resource. I'm pulling the data from one resource pool, but
the tasks are from several projects. I tried inserting all of the projects
into one project, but no luck. I know I can export my data to Access and
pull the report that way. Is that the easiest/best way?

What was the problem after inserting projects? We might be able to help if
