Create a text colum with a combobox??

Hello

I like to create a new textcolumn. I found out that it is possible to
make it a combobox with text values. Someting like the resource column
where you can choose a resource.. But i want to know if it's possible
to have a combobox with values from the database???

Yes, you can have a custom Text field (column) that contains a pick list of
text values from which the user can select. To do so, complete the
following steps:

1. Click Tools - Customize - Fields
2. Select Text as the Field Type
3. Select one of the Text fields and click the Rename button
4. Give the field a new name and click OK
5. Click the Value List button
6. Enter a list of values
7. If you desire, select the "Use a value from the list as the default
entry for the field" checkbox
8. Select a value from the list and click the Set Default button
9. Set your Data Entry options as desired
10. Set your Display Order option as desired
11. Click OK and then click OK again

If you are working in Project Server 2002 or 2003 and wish to make the
custom Text field available to all users, do the following:

1. Log into Project Server through Microsoft Project Professional with
administrator permissions
2. Click Tools - Enterprise Options - Enterprise Global
3. Click Tools - Customize - Enterprise Fields
4. Complete the steps from step #2 in the first set of steps
