Create Adobe PDF error message...

Every time I start WORD, I get an error message that
says: "Create Adobe PDF. The Creat Adobe PDF monitor
cannot be found. Please reinstall Create Adobe PDF.

I have Adobe PageMaker installed, but don't even know
what Create Adobe PDF is. Regardless, why is that coming
up every time I open WORD? How do I make it go away. So
far, I haven't been able to find the box to uncheck and
HELP is no help!

It's not Adobe PageMaker that this refers to but Adobe Acrobat. If you don't
have Acrobat, then you need to uninstall any add-ins in Word's Startup
folder (or the Office Startup folder) that contain PDF in the name. An early
version of Acrobat Reader evidently contained an add-in to create PDFs from
Word documents, but this add-in doesn't work in later versions of Word.
