create and print blank checks for checking account

Is there a way to create and print blank checks for my checking account? I
want to start making my own checks instead of paying the bank for them.
I'm using MicroSoft Office XP for business.

Although you can probably manage to do this with Office...I don't know
if even the business version has any specific templates for this. You
may want to check into a program that is more attuned to this type of
process. See this link for one very good one to do this...

Yes that can be done, BUT if the reason is "cost reduction" you may wish
to consider an alternate source of check printing. "do it yourself"
check printing can get fairly expensive on a "per check" basis.

Sure, but you'll need the MICR fonts to do so, you'll also need MICR
toner in your laser or inkjet printer so that the bank's magnetic
readers can read the information printed on the check.

It's MUCH easier to buy the software you need and not very costly,
$15.00 for the software I use:

I know this works from personal experience but a Google search will
turn up several companies that offer the software you need.
