Create another "Notebook"

Anyone knows how to setup two separate "Notebook" in OneNote so that one can
switch between two separate Notebooks instead of creating two separate
folders within one NoteBook file?

You can only have one "My Notebook". You can manually change the location
of that folder by going into Tools | Options | Open and Save. You could
conceivably use that setting to change between two different top level
notebook folders, but it is more trouble than it's worth, and may interfere
with other settings like the automated backup which rely on there being a
single "My Notebook" folder.

You can simulate having multiple notebooks by using folders, as you
described. Just curious - why does that not work for you? I use one top
level folder each for different unrelated types of data for work, school,
home, etc. It works very well.

Thanks for your reply. Having multiple notebooks by using folders work also
work for me. I thought it would make sense to have separate "My Notebooks"
for totally unrelated types of data such as one for "Work" related and
another for "Personal" related in order to keep the size of each "NoteBook"
manageable.

May be this can be a feature for future release that we can save and close
one "Notebook" and then open another "Notebook" as in all other Office
Products.
