Create Apoinment in Outlook Calendar

I am looking for the simplest way to create an appointment
in an outlook calendar from a SMTP source. I have setup a
CDONTS webpage that notifies group when we will be testing
on network. Now I would like to take that information and
put it in an outlook calendar. I will take any
suggestions. I have an email with all the information in
outlook inbox. Is there a way from outlook itself that it
could create an appointment? Not worried about overlapping
appointments would set as all free.

Unless you're in an Exchange environment and have access to an account with
Write access to everyone's Calendar folder, you can't create an appointment
automatically. A good solution would be to send an iCalendar item, which the
user can accept or not as they see fit.
