Create Appointments that span several days

I often enter multiday appointments in my Outlook 2003 calendar. They would
appear as one bar spanning over several days. Recently I installed a large
Microsoft update. Now when I enter a multiday appointment is shows up as
numerous individual appointments, one on each day. How to I get back to the
desired format where a multiday appointment appears as one banner covering
all of the days in the appointment?

I can't repro. Have you restarted outlook? Which view are you using?
