Create Bleeds

Hi,
is there any possibility to create bleeds by extending the color on the
edge? If I have a shape which touches edge, the bleeds remain white -
commercial printers doesn't like this. Now I have to walk page by page of my
80 pages publication and extend the shapes somehow to be partially outside
the paper. I don't need to do this for the first time and it makes your
publication quite confusing and uggly....

Hi Mary,
this is just what I've described, this is not a very good solution. I'm
looking for some more automatical way, eg. replicating edges or mirroring
page at all edges to create bleeds. Moreover, the way I and you have pointed
out does not allow you to create bleeds on both sides when using two-paged
layout.

That's because you are laying it out in reader spreads. The natural
assumption is that there is no "bleed" on the binding edge rather it is a
cross-over. You want to work in a single page layout mode. I don't know if
Publisher is capable of that or not.

No, there is no such way of automatically expanding objects to create the
bleed. A human has to determine what bleeds off the page.
