Create custom reports

Hi All,
I have a standard floorplan design with custom stencils, the stencil
components have custom properties as well.

What I want to do is create a Bill of Material report which is saved on the
design and also can be saved to disk. What I do not want is for the user to
have to go thru the report wizard, I would like to user to just hit a command
button (or a custom menu button) to create the report. The report will
always be the same layout and content, only the items and quantities will
change.

Just fire the Visio ShapeSheet function DOCMD(1335) as you like (right click
menu, events, ...).
For example put "DOCMD(1335)" in the EventDblClick cell of the Events
section of the shapesheet of one shape.
When you double click on the shape the report dialogbox appears giving you
the opportunity to execute a report.
