Create Drawing Here? For Text Box?

I have Word 2002. When I create a Text Box it has a Drawing Pad Box around
the Text box. Can I get rid of that and just have the text box? It's
distracting.

Clear the check box referring to a drawing canvas on the General tab of
Tools | Options.
