create drop down list

Hi,

I have project file. In the Resource Sheet I have all the basic information
and here I want to create drop down for the chanrge codes that we have in the
file. Adn different charge codes have different colors. How can I create drop
downs for charge code and for colors separately or in the same drop down?

Hi Anna

check out tools / customize / fields .. choose resource, choose text - click
rename & give it an appropriate name then choose value list - type your
different charge codes in here ... click ok

for the colours you can check out the options under 'graphical indicators'
on the same screen ... and it is then up to you whether you want to use one
column or two columns to show this.

to get this customized field in the resource sheet choose insert / column,
find the field you customised and insert it.
